Puerto Vallarta Revolution Day Parade Canceled Citing Safety Concerns

By the order of the military, the planned Revolution Day Parade was suspended today in Puerto Vallarta.

Revolutionary Day Parades are organized by local military and an event to honor the services, however this year it was requested that they not participate in events due to safety concerns over possible clashes with student protesters.

While there are no planned protests today in the area and Puerto Vallarta has only experienced a handful of peaceful silent marches seeking answers in the 43 missing student’s case, the order was given on a national level.
